The Salt Lake City Public Art Program seeks to engage West Side residents, organizations, and stakeholders in the creation of an iconic public artwork that will honor the diverse perspectives, cultures, and identities that call this place home.
Through this community-building process, the Arts Council aims to celebrate the West Side’s cultural vibrancy and shed light on the significant role the West Side plays in shaping Salt Lake City. Site selection will consider a variety of factors such as accessibility, visibility, community impact, and integration with existing infrastructure and surroundings.
This 5-minute survey will the Arts Council with input and help determine what community values and goals the Public Art Program should consider for the creation of an iconic public artwork on the West Side of Salt Lake City. Your responses will remain completely anonymous and will be used to determine the artwork’s goals, content, and the type of artist who should be involved.
