It is the responsibility of the Salt Lake Art Design Board to review proposed gifts of artwork on behalf of Salt Lake City and submit recommendations to the Mayor, who makes the final decision in such cases. Except for works of art donated to the City by a Sister City, the Design Board shall be responsible for the examination and acceptance or rejection of all works of art offered to the City as a donation or gift. All such donations or gifts shall meet the same standards as required in public art commissions.
